Sowe is seen in the photo touching the peanut shelling machine. She is thirty-eight years old and mother to five children between the ages of ten and three years old. One of her children currently attends school. Sowe’s husband is a farmer and they live in Mali. Sowe cannot read or write and she works selling peanuts.

She buys peanuts, stores them, shells them and sells them when the price is good. She sells them in the same market where she buys them. Sowe works with the field partner RMCR to increase her revenue. She has been running this business for more than twenty years and it provides for the needs of her family. With any business activity there are always difficulties and Sowe’s main problem is a reduction in market prices. In the future, she would like to improve her operations by buying a motor-driven shelling machine.

Con cualquier actividad de negocio siempre hay dificultades, y el principal problema de Sowe es una reducción en los precios del mercado.
